The Anthropology minor is designed to expose students to the four subfields of Anthropology through four different introductory courses. Some of these courses also allow students an opportunity to earn Liberal Studies Domain Credit: ANT 102 (Social, Cultural, Behavioral Inquiry), ANT 103 (Historical Inquiry), and ANT 104 (Scientific Inquiry LAB). Students may then explore one or more areas of Anthropology in a bit more depth through one 200-level and one 300-level elective of their choosing. Among these elective options are ANT 206, World Prehistory, which is approved for Historical Inquiry domain credit, and ANT 270, which is approved for credit as a Science as a Way of Knowing course.
