Note: The first admit term for this program is Winter 2025. 

The combined Bachelor's + Master's degree programs allow students to complete 12 graduate credit hours while still an undergraduate student. These 12 graduate credit hours may count toward both the undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

The Combined Bachelor's + MSACC Program allows non-accountancy majors to complete a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Science in Accountancy (MSACC) degree in as few as five years.

The nationally ranked Master of Science (MS) in Accountancy is intended for students who do not have an undergraduate accounting degree and wish to pursue a career in accountancy. Through the program’s challenging and integrated sequence of courses, students become proficient in topics that are relevant to the work of a professional accountant. Students also gain a solid understanding of other business disciplines and their relationship to accounting issues.

Upon admission to the program students will take the following three courses in the order listed during their senior year:

Graduate Year

Upon successful completion of the bachelor’s degree and the three courses above, students will complete the remaining master’s degree requirements.

Admission Requirements

This program is available to all DePaul non-accountancy undergraduate students with a strong academic record:

  • Junior standing or higher (at least 88.0 credits)
  • A minimum cumulative DePaul grade point average of 3.200
  • B or higher in each of the three graduate classes taken during senior year 

To apply to the program a you will need:

  • A completed application submitted to the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business (https://grad.depaul.edu/apply; application fee will be waived).
    • Select Accountancy (MSACC) Online-Combined
    • Select the term you plan to begin the master’s degree after finishing your bachelor’s degree. This term can be changed at a later date if your plans change.
  • A current resume summarizing your work experience and educational background, no more than 2 pages in length.
  • You may upload your unofficial transcript available through Campus Connect.
  • Not required: GMAT exam, personal statement, recommendations, and application fee.
