Energy policy and energy management are critical issues facing our world. Questions of energy production, consumption, pollution, and energy costs at local, state, national and international scales, are addressed in the undergraduate Certificate in Energy Policy and Management which requires 12 credit hours (3 courses). The Certificate is available to students in any DePaul undergraduate degree program and to non-degree-seeking students. Students in undergraduate programs can complete the Certificate as part of their elective requirements, complementing their degree without any impact to time of degree completion, costs, or number of courses.
No more than one course from the certificate can be applied to the major from which that course originates (e.g. a BA in Public Policy major can apply PPS 374 or PPS 376 to their BA in Public Policy major requirements, but not both courses).
