The combined Bachelor's/Master's degree programs allow students to complete 12 graduate credit hours while still undergraduates. These 12 graduate credit hours will count toward both the undergraduate and MS degree programs.
Students apply to this program in spring of their junior year. Applicants should have the support of a faculty member that will serve as their research mentor in the MS program. Information on potential research mentors can be found at our Biology Faculty and Staff page.
In addition, applicants will need to submit a copy of their transcripts, a letter of recommendation from the potential research mentor, and a personal statement highlighting their professional interests, experience, and plans. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is expected. Interested students should meet with the Graduate Program Director to learn more.
