Business Analytics
The DePaul Online Business Analytics Certificate provides a high-touch introduction to the field, taking you from data collection and organization to analysis and insight generation. Throughout the program, you will work with real data and in real software environments through a virtual lab. You will also learn to use data visualization techniques so that you can get buy-in from coworkers and stakeholders. Students will be awarded this certificate upon completion of EXCED 400 with a grade of PA/Pass.
Entrepreneurship
The DePaul Online Entrepreneurship Certificate consists of three, four-week modules. Rather than jumping straight into the business plan, the program starts by laying the groundwork to help you envision what it takes to be an entrepreneur and find your reason for entrepreneurship. It then progresses into examining the feasibility of your business idea and culminates in the development and delivery of your own well-conceived business plan that can be taken to market. Students will be awarded this certificate upon completion of EXCED 401 with a grade of PA/Pass.
Restricted Undergraduate Certificate
The William E. Hay Leadership Accelerator
The William E. Hay Leadership Accelerator is a comprehensive, co-curricular leadership development experience open to DePaul juniors and seniors of all majors. The program is designed to develop personal effectiveness, essential leadership skills, and overall career readiness. Individual development is delivered through an engaging blend of in-person workshops, guided self-reflections, and experiential exercises and applications. The program is cohort-based and unfolds over the course of an academic year, allowing for long-lasting friendships and professional networking. Hay Leadership Scholars gain valuable workplace competencies, enhance their workplace professionalism, and learn and practice effective and ethical leadership. Students will be awarded this certificate upon three successful completions of EXCED 301, each with a grade of PA/Pass.
